The Wood Ops are a group of savage killers who dwell in the Penny Avenue Woods. They are defensive and extremely violent.

The Wood Ops Story
The Wood Ops fight between the YAA over their territory of the Penny Avenue Woods. A major battle ensues between them and the YAA Troops under the command of Mark Bender. They are able to get the upper hand in the battle and push the YAA back. Finally Mark Bender offers a truce when the battle seems to go nowhere. He offers that they divide the territory in half. The two groups then unofficially engage in a temporary pact.
Mark Bender later enters their territory looking for Sean Ripken. A Wood Ops sniper shoots him in the leg, and a few others drag him to their nearest camp. They decide among themselves to kill Mark since he broke the truce. However, before they can kill him, Nick comes to his rescue, and kills a group of them. Later, the Campbells follow Ellen Nevins into the woods and into their territory. They surround the two agents and call for reinforcements. Nick and Wade are able to kill several of them. It is implied that the Wood Ops eventually died out.
