Byrd's Story

Tim is first seen with Sean Austin, and tells Sean that he has an appointment. Byrd first meets with Ellen Nevins and tells her that he knows her father, Vanya Nevins. He tells Ellen that if she is going to work for them, she needs to infiltrate the YAA, by applying for an open position connected to that organization. Byrd then lets in Jason Rover, and views his report, believing Agent Rover could be one of his top agents. Byrd then tests Rover by signaling to one of his guards to kill Rover. Rover dodges the guard's attack and knocks the guard out. Byrd laughs and says: "Welcome to the team."

Meeting

In a meeting, Byrd reveals his master plan, code-named Operation: Viper. He says that Sean Austin is going to get a job with the YAA and infect their computer system with a virus provided by a man named Dekker. He says that Nevins is going to schedule a meeting with Heidi Quinn. Austin then says that he and Clark will rob Warehouse 43. Byrd then says that they will meet in Washington and kidnap the president's daughter and force the president to give more money and stop chasing them. They move out, and Byrd gives Austin one of Yugostun's old masks to give to Clark. Austin later calls Byrd and tells him that he got the job. Byrd goes to another hideout where there are special scanners to read the code on the document retrieved by Xavier Capotta and locate the site of the money. Dan Clark later comes to this hideout to report to Byrd. He tells Byrd that he found a tracker on his car, left by one the YAA agents. Byrd forgives him and says that they have plenty of guards and that the agents don't stand a chance. He sends Clark back to the other hideout to wait for further instructions from Austin. Byrd then tells Novak to notify all the guards of the impending attack from the YAA. Novak later tells Byrd that Jason Rover was able to kill Agent Luggin, who was spying on them. When the YAA troops attack, Byrd orders for a retreat and to self-destruct the building. A few days later, Byrd talks to Austin on the phone, who says they are preparing to attack Warehouse 43. Byrd continues to aid Austin in his escape plan after they steal the money. Austin tells him that no agents can stop them. Byrd later is talking to Austin via instant message, but when Austin goes to deal with the captured agent, Nick pretends to be Austin and extracts the information that their "plan B" is going back to Warehouse 43. However, Austin comes back to the computer and notices that someone else has been using it and tells this to Byrd. When Austin fails his mission, Byrd does not let up. He sends a message to Ellen Nevins at the YAA to meet with him. It is implied that they have a series of meetings. Later, Ellen goes to meet him again. He is with Agent Rover. He sees her walking towards them and tells Rover to make sure it's her. Rover shines a wrist flashlight at her to confirm it's her. He tells her that even though Austin failed, the second part of Operation: Viper will be successful. He tells her that if she isn't at the White House that evening, she will be killed.

Crowd

At the White House, he orders his men to get Michelle Davis, but to keep her alive. Once they kidnap her he shoots down the remaining Secret Service, and they escape. However, Byrd and one of his henchmen return later to see Davis's speech and make sure that no one is on to him. They see Nick Campbell in the crowd and are about to shoot him until Nick knocks Byrd over and kills his henchman. Nick brings Byrd back to the YAA HQ for questioning. Nick tells Byrd that he had quite a conversation with him about "plan B." Byrd refuses to tell him where Michelle is but does tell him that he's supposed to go to a party at the Patterson Mansion to meet up with his new secret agent, whose father is head of the Russian Mafia. He is soon let go. He returns to his hideout and tells Novak and the others to prepare for the party. He brings extra henchmen in case the YAA does attempt to capture him. He plans to meet with Ellen Nevins there so they can go to their new hideout in Wood Ops territory. He goes under the name of Jonathan Otis. When he sees Agent Campbell at the party, he notifies his men that their cover is blown. His men attack, and he and Ellen escape. He tells Ellen that she is his top agent now that Rover is dead.

Positions

Novak arrives later and tells Byrd that Agent Campbell knows where they are. Byrd almost has him killed but decides to give him a second chance to see how his security performs. He makes a videotape demanding a ransom for Michelle Davis. He then orders Ellen to kill Mark Bender. Once she returns, he orders for all guards to get back in position. Later, Byrd's walks into the room where Michelle is being kept with another guard by his side and catches the Campbells trying to free her. He orders the guard to check them all for weapons and leaves. Nick gets to him and tells him that his plan has failed. The two fight, and Byrd pulls out a knife on Nick, yet Nick grabs it and throws it across the room. Byrd then pins Nick to the ground and tries to choke him, but Nick grabs the knife and thrusts it into Byrd's leg, incapacitating him severely. Byrd pulls the knife out of his leg and falls over. Nick leaves, and Byrd says that some day he will have his revenge. Byrd is then arrested and taken to prison.
