Nick's Story
Nick wakes up one morning and washes his face. He goes downstairs and sees his brother, Wade, making breakfast. He tells Wade that their mother is out running errands for the morning. Nick and his brother go to the park to play basketball.
While playing, Nick wonders why their mother never told them about their father. Wade says that maybe they were better off. They then go back home, assuming their mother is home by now. However, when they get home, she is not back yet. Nick goes to his room to watch television and flips through the channels. He stops at the news, which reports that a terrible car accident has occurred on 322, which is close to their home. Nick rushes out of the house, followed by Wade. Nick witnesses the wreckage and realizes that it was his mother who was in the accident. He tells Wade that they have to get home and call someone, and the two take a shortcut home. Suddenly, they are stopped by an armed crook who demands that they give him all the money he has. Nick hands him the money, but Wade quickly kicks the crook's hand, disarming him, and Nick knocks him out. Suddenly a man walks toward them, looking impressed by their actions. The man introduces himself as Mark Bender, head of operations at the YAA. Mark asks them to come with him to train to be agents. Nick is skeptical about the idea, but follows. As they enter the YAA headquarters, Mark asks the Campbells if anyone told them about their father. Nick is shocked to hear him say this, but Mark drops the topic. Mark introduces Nick to another secret agent there, named Roger Luggin. Roger brings Nick into another room for his training. The two engage in hand-to-hand combat to test Nick's abilities, and Nick passes. Roger sends him to Mark again, who shows him how to use a gun. After more training, Mark tells Nick that he is now ranked as an A Operative in the organization. After an important document is stolen from a safe-house, Mark informs Nick that they may have a mission for him. After identifying one of the culprits as a ninja named Xavier Capotta, Nick is sent in to Capotta's ninja training facility, where he is believed to be hiding. Nick and Wade meet Calvin Puck who gives them their gadgets for the mission. When Nick and Wade arrive at the facility, they are greeted by Brock Carlton, the administrator of the facility. Carlton thinks that the two agents are actually government scouts looking for ninja recruits.
Carlton introduces Nick to Xavier, who is instantly suspicious of him. Nick asks Xavier where he was recently, and Xavier lies and says that he was with his family. Nick gets frustrated and says that not only has he heard that skilled ninjas are there but that one of them is a criminal as well. Xavier claims that Nick has him mixed up with someone else and shuts the door on him. Mr. Carlton is confused but walks away, so Nick tells Wade that it's time to bring Xavier in. Suddenly an alarm sounds, so Nick goes to hold off the security while Wade captures Xavier. Nick shoots down the security and heads outside to help Wade, who has been wounded by Xavier. Nick shoots and kills Xavier. Wade places a tracker on the escaping car that was supposed to transport Xavier away. Back at HQ, Nick watches the tracker stop at a designated location. A couple days later, Mark informs Nick that Roger was killed investigating the location where the car had stopped at and that now it is his job to go in. While outside the hideout, Nick snipes the two guards waiting outside the blast door. He and Wade then move in. Nick shoots a flammable bin, which some of the guards are standing next to. Wade shoots the control panel opening the blast doors for the YAA troops, and a battle breaks out.
The guards are pushed back. The building is then set to self-destruct. Wade yells to Nick to get out of there, and Nick makes it out just as the whole place goes up in flames. Nick returns to HQ and is given a letter from Roger, written to Nick before he died. The note tells Nick that both of his parents were secret agents, and that his mother's death was not an accident. Nick is specifically told not to tell any of this to his brother by Roger. A new agent there introduces himself to Nick as Sean Ripken, who expresses his condolences for Roger's death. However, Nick later catches Sean attempting to infect the YAA mainframe computer with a virus. Nick punches Sean in the ear, knocking him to the ground. Sean then pulls a gun out on Nick and escapes. Mark goes out to the Wood Ops territory to find the escaped Sean. After a few minutes of no reports from Mark, Nick goes out to find him. He sees that Mark has been captured by a group of Wood Ops, who have every intention of killing him. Luckily, Nick rescues Mark, even though they are unable to find Ripken. Nick is then promoted to a AAA Operative. Later, Nick is called upon to investigate a robbery at Warehouse 43. He meets Heidi Quinn, the YAA's inter-agency consultant. Heidi introduces Nick to Ellen Nevins, her associate. Nick checks out the warehouse's computer and sees security camera footage of the money being stolen. Nick then hears someone outside the warhouse and investigates. He notices that someone is up in the watchtower. He climbs up and disarms the man inside, who is aiming at Ellen. The man reveals his name to be Dan Clark, and tells Nick that he was working with a guy named Sean Austin who left him for dead. Nick knocks him out and returns to HQ. Wade tells Nick that he has been going through even more training. Later, Nick goes to Calvin Puck's lab, who shows him all his weapons and gadgets he will need. Mark tracks down Austin's location, and Nick prepares to go. Wade tells him that he found a profile of Sean Austin, without a picture, saying that he is deaf in his left ear for some reason. Heidi drives Nick to the hideout, and Nick interrogates one of the guards, who tells him that a man named Byrd is helping Austin plan his escape from the states. Nick then withdraws and informs Heidi and Mark of this information. He then returns with his brother, and they attack the guards. However, Wade is captured by a masked assassin, so Nick hides and sneaks around back. He hacks Austin's computer and is able to extract information from Byrd, while pretending to be Austin. Byrd tells him that if things go wrong, Austin must return to the abandoned Warehouse 43, and prepare to leave the state. He goes to find Wade, who is in custody of the assassin. Nick knocks out the assassin and frees Wade, as the two make their escape. Mark tells Nick that Sean Austin was in fact the Sean that worked at the YAA. Nick informs Ellen and Mark that Austin and his men are going back to Warehouse 43 before leaving the state. Nick later goes to sleep in his quarters to get rested up before they attack the warehouse.
He realizes that the assassin is in the HQ, so when the assassin gets to his room, he sneaks up behind him and knocks the shotgun out of his hands. The two fight and Nick soon gets the upper hand, so the assassin leaves. Nick goes downstairs to find that Mark has been attacked as well. Wade tells Nick that Ellen has been acting kind of weird, but Nick tells him that they have to focus on getting the money back.
The Campbell brothers load their weapons and head to the warehouse. They then engage the enemy. Nick is then captured at gunpoint by the assassin and taken to Austin. Sean expresses to Nick how revenge is sweet and reminds him that Nick caused him to go deaf in his left ear. The assassin takes Nick into the warehouse and has him tied up. Nick asks the assassin who he is, but the man refuses to answer him. Austin sends the assassin to go find Wade and tells Nick that there is a traitor in his midst. He then leaves Nick alone, and Nick proceeds to untie himself and grab a pistol. He then sneaks up behind Austin and holds him at gunpoint. Austin tells him that the money is upstairs in the closet. While looking for the money, however, Nick is attacked by the assassin. The two fight, and Nick finally knocks the assassin off his feet and aims his gun at the assassin. He takes the mask off, and it turns out to be Dan Clark. Clark tells him that he wanted to kill Austin and all of his men until Austin made him a new offer to kill Nick. He then knocks Nick back and the fight goes on. Clark then picks up a pistol and shoots Nick in the leg. Nick expresses his anger toward him for trying to kill him and his brother, but Clark says that his life is killing. Nick then knocks the gun out of his hands, picks it up, and shoots Clark in the chest, killing him. He then goes upstairs to the closet and gets the money. Austin then attacks Nick from behind, but Nick breaks Austin's wrist and knocks him over.
He arms a bomb and heads outside. He hands Wade the case full of money and finishes off the remaining guards. Then, he detonates the bomb, killing Austin and destroying the warehouse. The two agents are applauded for their efforts. Wade gives the money to Mark, who tells them that there is a message for them. Heidi informs them that the president has sent them five million dollars for there accomplishments. A few days later, Nick receives a call from President Davis himself, offering Nick a position in the Secret Service. Nick considers the offer, and Wade is not happy about that. News reaches Nick that the president's daughter, Michelle Davis, has been kidnapped from the White House. He goes to Washington to talk to Davis. He watches Davis as he gives a speech, begging for his daughter back. Nick realizes that two men are behind him aiming a gun at him. He knocks one over and kills the other. Nick brings the man back to interrogate him. It turns out to be Tim Byrd, the man who was working with Austin. Byrd refuses to tell Nick where Michelle is but does say that he is supposed to attend a party at the Patterson Mansion. They let Byrd go, hoping he will lead them to the girl. Nick goes with Wade to the party under the name of Fred Ferry. Mark introduces Nick to Jason Rover, who claims to be sent by Sam Davis to help them catch Byrd. Regardless, Nick is suspicious of the way Agent Rover acts. Nick goes into the party and meets Byrd. Byrd then calls in his men to attack, so that he can escape. Byrd's men shoot at the people and the mansion security, who fight back. Nick runs after Byrd, but is stopped by Jason Rover. Nick kills Rover but is unable to get Byrd before he escapes. Wade is able to disarm and bring out Novak, Byrd's head of security. Novak confesses that they are keeping Michelle in a new hideout located in the Wood Ops territory.
Novak then escapes when some more of Byrd's men attack. Nick then pursues a group of Byrd's bikers who are escaping. He is able to take out all of them. Later, back at headquarters, Nick hears Mark get hurt and runs into the kitchen to find him with a knife in his chest, dead. Nick insists that they carry out an investigation, even though it is obviously an act of Tim Byrd. They then watch a threatening video left by Mark Bender's killer, demanding that they come to his hideout, unarmed, with five million dollars or Michelle will die. Ellen Nevins returns to headquarters and Nick realizes that she is the traitor and the one who killed Mark. Ellen then holds Nick at gunpoint and admits that she has been working for Byrd the entire time. She flees, followed by Nick and Wade. They enter the woods and get past the angry Wood Ops. They fight the guards at Byrd's hideout, and Wade goes around the side to look for Michelle. Nick continues fighting off guards. A few minutes later, Wade runs over and tells Nick that he has killed Nevins. Nick then kills Novak.
They move in and find Michelle. Nick sends Wade to escort Michelle out, while he deals with Byrd. Byrd is waiting for him upstairs, and the two fight. Byrd pulls out a knife, but Nick grabs it and throws it across the room. Byrd then pins him down and tries to choke him, but Nick grabs the knife and thrusts it into Byrd's leg, incapacitating him severely. He sees outside that the Secret Service has arrived. President Davis congratulates Nick and tells him that the offer still stands. Nick thanks him but says the for the time being he's going to stay with the YAA, his family. Heidi tells Nick that he is a hero. Later, Nick busts another petty robbery by two criminals, named Gavin and Bruce. They are no match for him.
